In the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in Newtown, Connecticut, the country has become divided about how best to ensure safety in our schools. Some believe that staunch new gun control laws would help to prevent disturbed individuals from gaining access to military style assault weapons; while others remain convinced that arming teachers in the classroom is the only way to keep our schools safe. Some, such as Arizona legislators who drafted SB 1474, the “Bring your guns to school” bill, go so far as to denounce any gun control whatsoever. What do you think?
